Cretaceous Age 100 Million Years Old.
Unidentified Highly detailed specimen, showing scales, mouthparts, and fins that have just started coming out of Morocco. There is still much research to be done on these fish to correctly identify them. Possible Goulmimichthys arambourgi Cavin, 1995. This spindle-shaped fish has a widely split-mouth and numerous small spiny and slightly internally curved teeth. Several specimens show an elongate structure along the long axis of the body, below the vertebral column, and preservation of soft tissues.
