Equicalastrobus Petrified Pine Cones are from the Western Sahara of Morocco. Great detail & preservation with the wood being replaced by agate. This pine cone is from the Eocene age of 40-45 million years ago. As far as I can find, the species has yet to be identified. The Pine Cone belongs to the Conifer family.
